Cockle Cove beach, a beach on Nantucket Sound, is located a half mile from the properties on Lantern Lane.  It has warm water and small waves.  You can access to popular Ridgevale Beach by walking on foot.  And, it is too shallow for wildlife like seals (you have to go to the other side of Chatham for seal viewing!)
